The Second Water Lady

Hi again!

It is another week, and the last week of March. I have officially finished the Water Lady Duo project. With the next month, I hope to step into what I want to do for my career - Storyboards!

I will still continue with the comics, illustrations, and so forth. It's going to be all over the place. I am aiming to make this year a more productive year than in the past.

This is the second Water Lady, more focused on the boat than the lady herself. I've put the first one with it for comparison.

I will be adding these and the three comics from earlier in the month onto my other social media pages... at some point soon. I still have the goal of adding a page to this blog to link those pages.

I am not entirely sure what I will be posting next week, but it will be something. I have not gotten stuck in another book series, and since I finished Air Awakens, all looks promising.

Thank you and have a wonderful week!

Leprechaun Sighting and Work-In-Progress

Hello to all!

It has been a week of me piling work on myself. It's what happens when there are a few days off. To be fair, I do this a lot, so by now I should be a lot better at time-framing my projects... but no.

I do have an illustration and a partial illustration today. Oddly enough, the Water Lady part 2 is NOT the completed one. That is still ongoing, but I figured I would post a promising update on it. I do want to complete it before the end of March. Also want to finish the drip morph. See? The more I speak it, the more it appears!

Without further ado, I decided to celebrate St. Patrick's Day of 2018 with a female leprechaun. Sliding down a rainbow. I have no idea if the pot of gold is there or not. From my experience, it usually is not.... so maybe she's putting it there....

And as I put this work-in-progress Water Lady 2, I realize I really like extreme perspectives. I have probably known it for a while, it is just hitting home now.

Anywho, this week promises to tire me out schedule wise, but I will have something next week. I do not know which project, only because it is generally based on what I feel like doing for the day.... so there.

Have a Happy Tuesday, and until next week!

Morph Animation and Accidental Reading Marathon

Hi there!

Hope the week has treated everyone well. I got sucked into a book series.... so that's been most of my week. If anyone is interested, it's called the Air Awakens series by Elise Kova. I highly recommend it, if you're into adventure with a dash of romance that is.

Outside of that, I have notes on a morph animation I want accomplished by the end of the month. A bit ambitious since I have not really used my animation skills for almost two years, but I will do it. No problems left unsolved.

In all honesty, I cannot remember what I based this off of. I think it was a dream? Maybe a random thought?

I did apply to participate in a local art fair! Woohoo! I will put up the images I am showing on the day it happens, which is April 14th. This is going to be interesting, especially since I am trying to gather stands together.... Yeah.

Enjoy another week! I hope to have the twin illustration to the Water Lady next week, along with progress on this morph. Maybe even another comic? I will keep to it!

Until next week~

Return with a bang!

Hi there!

So it went from a week to five months... I wish I could say it was to shut out the world. It was more to work on a project, which turned into browsing the web for a while, then to work retail hours.

Outside of that, I finished said project! I have illustrated poems in L.J. Valente's newest book called "Away We Go". A little over a hundred images. I am also going to make some of these color, because it would be pretty. No other reason. Well, maybe T-shirts.

There have been a couple of great weather days the past week that have allowed me to get some outdoor drawing in. I'll see if I can get a few more and add them in next week. I will also be kicking in some new pages on here, just to keep this up to date with all sorts of info.

I do have 3 comics and an illustration for you this week. See, I thought about this.... a lot.

The comics for this week are based on some "fake" ideas of mine. Those times that I have where the first thing that comes out can come close to absolute nonsense. It irritates Bri the most.

As to the oceanic illustration, I couldn't resist drawing a customer's hair from the other day and it's been stuck in my head..... ALL the time. And what better image to pair it with than one of power? Because that's what I saw. Nature at work. I am doing another image with this, however, more from the boat's perspective. Getting a different vibe from it, as well as practice with different angles.

I have the intention of posting every Tuesday, whether there is a comic, illustration, or just plain old sketches. So I will see you all next week!

Happy Tuesday!
